Tigard Historical Association's Programs
Open House - The John Tigard House is open to the public every third Sunday
of the month from noon to 4:00 pm. Admission is free. The open house includes
guided tours and opportunities for community members to showcase their own personal collections.
Tigard History Club - Local residents meet several times per year
to research, study, and document Tigard History. Activities include trips
to local historical sites and visits with community members who remember
``the good old days.`` Call for time and location.
Stepping Back Series - In parntership with the Tigard Public Library,
THA hosts lectures, presentations, and exhibitions at the Library. Contact THA
or the Library for dates, time, and topics.
Historic Tour - Self-guided tour includes more than 15 historic sites and
a variety of buildings, homes, and establishments throughout the Tigard area.
Oral History Project - The Oral History Project includes a growing collection
of over 40 oral histories from Tigard community families.
