Introducing Ted Lippert - New Board Member
Ted Lippert, who moved to Tigard three years ago, joins THA as our newest Board member. Ted worked in the nonprofit sector for 30 years and brings with him a wealth of knowledge. His experience at the St Louis Science Center will be of great value as we begin the documentation and preservation of our collection. Ted has worked with various computer software applications and has provided support to the membership and fundraising departments of several nonprofits. When asked why he chose to serve on the Board ofTHA , Ted's response clearly shows his passion for historical societies and museums. He was introduced to the John Tigard House at the July Ice Cream Social by a member ofTHA. Not one to sit around and twiddle his thumbs, Ted jumped right in and began helping as a volunteer. THA leadership couldn't pass up the opportunity to ask Ted to join us as a Board member. Ted is excited to help with the preservation project and he has agreed to be the new editor of our newsletter. Please extend a warm welcome to poet ... computer techie ... and history enthusiast: Ted Lippert!
